Best Co-Op playing game on the X-Box?

Me and my son are going to game like there is no tomorrow tonight. I'm off from work and he wants me to pick us up a Co-Op game @ gamestop this afternoon.

Suggestions boys?

In the past we played lots of good Co-Op wrestling / racing / shooters. I kinda wanted input of something newer that I can buy used for cheap @ GS.

Many thanks in advance guys, gimme the ones that gave you guys and a buddy had the most enjoyment playing. I'm open to suggestions for the following systems...

You can't go wrong with Chaos Theory.Best co-op on the xbox.Doom was pretty good too.

Chaos Theory? Interesting, I am not sure I've heard of it. I'll look it up, but what year did it release? Is it a shooter?

Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory

I was just about to mention Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. Very good Co-op where you have a bunch of moves to help eachother out. Its a FPS but its a slow paced, spy game.

BTW, you can also try Ghost Recon, it has alot of co-op modes as well. Both Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon should be under 20 dollars each.

If you wanted a little RPG action, you can try XMen Legends 2. It was pretty much made for co-op. Nice hack-n-slash action with plenty of depth.

I'd recommend Hunter: The Reckoning for the Xbox. Me and my friends used to have a blast playing this...up to four players simultaneously killing zombies, vampires and such.

Another co-op game is Death Row. I could'nt find the link on EB so I guess its hard to find. It is a sports type game where its like Hockey mixed with basketball or something to that nature. My guys did'nt care much for it by I thought it was alright.

Nice, I'm about to head out now to Gamestop & EB near me.

I read up on GR II Summit Strike, I like it, going to pick up that & SC: Chaos Theory.


But any more suggestions are still good. I may go back and get a few more tonight.

Is Chaos Theory, Split Screen Co-Op?

Hunter: The Reckoning (which is a VERY FUN and slightly tuff game - having both ranged and melee weapons is nice)

Time Splitters 3: Future Perfect (co-op story missions - mp co-op modes like team CTF, Team king of the hill --- it's even got a level editor to make new levels as well) It's one my favorite FPS on the XBox. It's Fun'n'Gun
