360 Owners: Has the 360 lived up to the hype?

For me, it has and then some. With the Live and the marketplace, games like GRAW, COD2, Oblivion, PGR3, etc, the future is very bright. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The best basketball game I've ever played...NBA 2k6 360
The best WWII game I've ever played...Call of Duty 2 360
The best college basketball game I've ever played..College Hoops 2k6 360
The best boxing game I've ever played....Fight Night Round 3 360
The best FPS I've ever played....Ghost Recon: Advanced WarFighter 360


So yeah....it's lived up to it.

And oh sweet mother...when NCAA 2007 comes out.

Absolutly man! I will admit at first i was kind of disappointed. The lack of quality games in the begining was frustrating. Now they are pouring in. GRAW is Phenominal, Oblivion the same, College Hoops is great. The marketplace. The pure media bliss it brings is amazing. This is a fantastic machine and will hold the PS3 to lofty standards.

It most definately has to me. I have never regretted my purchase since day one. It has great games, achievements for each game which add to replay value, xbox live, marketplace, arcade, friends list. I can't type anymore, I have to go play it.

The fact that Oblivion has taken so much of my life away,I'd say the 360 was a very bad purchase.

It is a great system. The only gripe I have is the lack of Backwards compatability(MVP Baseabll). Other than that, it has done everything and more that I wanted it for. Oh, and NBA 2K6 is the greatest Basketball game ever!

It has for me in every which way, shape and form, I mean I own 7 games and I really love all of them, **also people need to realize that all these games made were first effort, a lot of people and them so called sony fanboys out there look at what games came out for the 360 and say, wow I'm not impressed, the PS3 is going to be better, Blah..Blah...Blah, I just laugh at all of it. We haven't even see the best of the 360 yet, people just don't realize how powerful the 360 is, but don't worry, we will see soon. I mean with GRAW, Oblivion alone you can see what 360 owners have so look forward too. Things can only get better and will get better, no doubt.....Anyway In another words I'm real happy.

No.. I thought the graphics would be much better..My friend has HL2 with everything maxed out & looked much better then anything I have seen on 360..Hopefully, the games will look better when developers get acustomed to using the 360's hardware..I'm also disapointed with the lag & frame rate drops in 360 games.. I thought this would be a thing in the past, or at least infrequent. Oblivion & a few other games have tons of hiccups, even when nothing is going on.

No.. he had HL2 on what system, I haven't had any hiccups on any game I own on the 360, and everything else is great online, only had a few disconect issues wih COD, and that was fixed. So i'm not to sure what you talking about.

P.S- I still think GRAW is the best looking game I ever seen to date on a cosole.
