    anyone with Gamerang?

i currently have gamefly, and enjoy it, but sometimes it can take about a week to ship and receive my game. gamerang has a center in OK, and i live in TX so i think it would only take a day or 2 to get my games.

I use both Gamerang and Gamefly. Gamerang works pretty well for me. Their selction is great, and there's almost never a wait for new releases. It does take just as much time to receive a game as gamefly though, despite there being a distribution center in New York. I'm in Boston. Also, they are always promising to update the website and never do, so there's essentially no extra content.

                  Re: anyone with Gamerang?

I used Gamerang for about 4 months, but canceled because the games were taking entirely too long to get to/from Gamerang despite the fact that the games were only going from Central PA to NJ and back.

                  My general experience was:

                  - 5-7 days from the time I mailed the item until I got "credit" for the return
                  - 1 to 3 more days for them to mail me a new game even when the item was "in stock"!
                  - 4-7 days to get my game once shipped

Average turnaround was probably 2 weeks from the time I mailed the old game until the time I got a new one. The shortest turnaround time was 10 days. Even though I was paying for the 2 game package, I was lucky to have one game at home due to the turnaround time.

I've sold plenty of items on Ebay/Half.com using first class or media mail and almost all my items get anywhere in the country in 2 or 3 days. So either Gamerang has incredibly poor inventory management and the games were sitting for 2 or 3 days before being received or they were purposely delaying receipt/shipments to get more "float."
