Help.....Oblivion or Far Cry: P

My fellow OSer's, I need some help trying to determine if I should pick up Oblivion or Far Cry? I am a fan of both RPG's and FPS's.

I am intrigued by both games from what I have read and seen in vids. I'm leaning towards Oblivion since all I hear is good things, but I need a little bit of advice.

BTW, I might also be picking up Rumble Roses XX today with one of these 2 games. I need a serious 1 deep game like FC or Oblivion and 1 quick play like RRXX. GOH was telling me that RRXX plays really well once you get past some of the small issues.

I would get Oblivion. I'll get Far Cry when the price drops and when I actually have time to play it.

Id say oblivion becuase that has more value. You can play it for a long long time. But ill worn you that its crazy addicting and it will take over your soul. :wink:

Far cry is reallly good also, id say rent rumble roses and buy far cry. RRXX is not a game that you should pay 60$ for

Oblivion.
I had Far Cry for PC and while it's a good game it's not near the quality of gameplay or fun factor as Oblivion, IMO.

I would agree on renting Rumble Roses definately. If I was picking up two out of the three games you listed it would be Oblivion and Far Cry.

How I double posted, I have no idea. This just allows me to say, GET OBLIVON. As posted below, oblivion does require mucho time to be invested in the game. I've played about 14 hours and kind of feel like I'm just scratching the surface on what is possible in the game. Its ridiculously deep.

Holy crap Candyman, you just couldn't pass up RRXX huh? That's kind of funny cause I'm still considering getting that game too from hearing those reviews. Just don't want to paymore than $40 for it. You do have to realize that Oblivion is a game that you must put in work. From what I've seen, you have to have a good amount of time. Weigh in the amount of time you'll be able to play it on any given day minus your working and time you must spend with your family/friends.....and sleep of course.......

Play both.

If you like running around in tights shooting a bow and arrow get Oblivion. I haven't played Far Cry but I would go with that.

I want a wrestling game for the 360, so that's why I'm leaning towards getting RRXX with some trade ins though and not $60 outright. That's what I hear about Oblivion that it does require time and my time is very limited, but I still want to play it. I should just join Gamefly and it would solve most of these probs.

Far Cry also looks really good and I like how you get 2 games in 1 which makes the $60 worth it.

Save your money on both and play the games you have.

To some achievement points are nothing but the achievement points do tell if you play the game throughly.

Ditto on that plus i played Fry Cry on the Xbox i didn't finish it but i was more than half way through the game i did like the game
