    Thanks to new OXM for this site which lists games and what you have to do in them to get 360 achievement points prior to buying and/or playing the actual game. So those of you out there who are point "whores" will know what games to buy to most easily get achievement points to up your point total.

      What do you get by getting points? I am lost on the whole thing. Do you get free downloads or something? I cant imagine buying a game to get easy points if its a game i dont like and the points dont get you anything.

          Right now it's just an "ego" thing I believe but Microsoft has hinted that down the road they may reward gamers who have high achievement points with some 'freebies' and stuff like Microsoft points, maybe a free game, etc. But yeah for now it's just "I have more points than you do" type thing..heh.

          Personally I have 2000 points which isn't a ton and I don't compete with anyone here really because I know that's just gonna make me look bad but I do find myself kind of really working to get the achievements just because it's like a potato chip, you can't just eat one without wanting more..

                  I don't have too many right now, but I'm still excited about it.

                              I've got no use for gamer points.

                              I have 500-ish and I'm pretty certain that was by accident.
