Opinions on Perfect Dark 0

This week Circuit City has this game for $39.99, and I was thinking of picking it up. I'm looking for a decent SP game out of this and being able to play this on LIVE.

What are your thoughts?

save your money and buy a few sandwiches or something.

the level design is fairly good, but the single player story is pure trash. the highlight of the game is the rooftop mission, but that's hardly a reason to invest money into the game. it's multiplayer aspect is much better, but even that's nothing to write home about. it's a stale game all around.

Agreed. Probably the most disappointing thing about the 360. They should not have blown this game, but they did.

This game was in development for 6 yrs.

I really like PDZ, the story was trash but the missions were fun to me. It felt like Goldeneye all over again and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The guns are cool as well as some of the level designs. I'd say rent it because everyone and their moms hates this game. I'm one of the few that did like it.

Yeah, compared to GRAW and COD2, PDZ would be a step down. I bought it at launch and sold it once I finished the singleplayer.

I think its a pretty fun game single player wise. The story is so so but it is still fun. Online is where this game really shines. There is a ridiculous amount of game types/weapons and supposedly they are going to release more maps in the near future. Flying around in the jetpack shooting people online is a blast until you get shot out of the sky and go hurling to earth like the dude that chases wile e. coyote, I forgot his name.

If your into achievements there is a bunch of them for this game that will take some serious time online to unlock.

This game was extremely rushed.

I thought online was fun for a little while, but it got old fast. PDZ needs more maps.
