    Burnout Revenge?

Hi there I recently got an XBOX 360 premium console and was just wondering, since I already have PGR3, is there any point in also adding Burnout? is it good enough to add both?

I'd take Burnout over PGR. Ironically they're exact oppisites online. PGR everyone crashes into each other and Burnout people don't and actually try to win the race.

These are two different style car games. Burnout revenge is more fast paced, with more things to do. It has more replay value than PGR3.

I have Burnout Revenge for regular XBOX, and it is a boatload of fun. Fairly deep too. It is strictly an arcade racer, though; if you wreck, you will fall behind some, and if you don't use boost a lot, you won't win. It can get a bit frustrating once you work your way up the ranks in the one-player mode, as your opponents get better (and try to wreck you, haha). That said, the Road Rage mode is IMO the best thing ever to happen to racing games (all you try to do is wreck the competition in spectacular fashion ). The sense of speed in Burnout is also worth mentioning, as I don't think any other game out there comes close to matching it.

          I say buy it.

Agreed, but I'd say get Burnout Takedown over Burnout Revenge. BT is better b/c you can't check same moving traffic. It forces you to actually race.

I completely agree w/ that. Why checking was every implemented is beyond me. It seriously hinders the overall challenge factor now that you don't have to avoid same direction travelers. Still though the game is off the hook! Get it.

Been awhile since I posted here at OS. I forgot how good this community is. Anyway, back on topic......

I was in the same boat where I had it on the X1. I picked this up since my friends have it and have to say that I am glad I did. Like a previous poster stated, the sense of speed is much better and the game is just simple fun. I like it that I can pop on for 20 minutes and have a blast. It is definitely worth the $ to me.
