I am a truck driver and I am looking for a something that is easy to play while waiting at docks, I have the PS2 and xbox in truck but it can be a hassle when I have to hook up the system everytime. my question is, is the PSP worth the money and is it fun to play

I had my PSP since launch and I for one enjoy the system because it is portable but has probably one of the best screens for a portable gaming device in my opinion. Screen is big, clear and you can adjust the brightness. I usually play this on long flights or in bed just before going to sleep. The one drawback if any is the battery life. On average I get about 5-6 hours per charge. I think there is a stronger battery out (the one that comes with the system is 1800 MAH, the stronger one is 2200 MAH I belkieve) but I don't know how much more power that will give you.
As far as games that are easy to pick-up and play, Lumines is great and addicting, Ridge Racer is good as well. However the one I recommend most is MLB 06: Ths Show. This game is almost identical to the PS2 version except they left a few features out like not bieng able to create and edit players. But if that is not important to you, this game is really great.
There are more great games coming out later this year (Madden 07, NCAA 07) to compliment the games that are already out now. Hope this helps.

yeah picked one up and so far it's better then what I expected, picked up MLB 06 the show and NBA Live 06 both are good games and easy to playComment
