The Devs of Top Spin & Amped have been shut down by Take-2

The company that brought us the acclaimed Top Spin Series & this years 360 Amped has been shut down after 24 years of services.

I really hope many of the people from Indie stay-on in some capacity with Take-2 or VC for developmental purposes.

It was a gr-8 run. Thanks for all your hard work over the years. It was gr-8lty appreciated

Man I had no idea they were "Access" the folks who originally made Links. This is sad, not only because Indie built put out great games, but they made two of the least buggy titles I've played on the 360. They seemed to have their stuff together for sure. They were also one of the first companies that didn't mind folks adding stuff into their games. The original Links was so much more fun once you added the Bill Murray Caddyshack voice pack into it. "IT"S IN THE HOLE!!!" I had a blast playing that with a friend on dialup back in the early days of the internet.

Links 2004 remians one of my all time favorites. Sorry to see them go, and hope someone will pick up the series and do something with it.

Links on Xbox is still the best golf game I've ever played. I was hoping for a 360 version.

On Top Spin and Amped... they are said to be committed to the franchises still, but I wonder if it means the games will be done, pretty much from scratch now?

I thought both titles on the 360 were very quick, simple and cheap rehashes, so new versions would be cool.
