I apologize to you RPG nerds.
i was buying some used movies from blockbuster yesterday (3 for $20 is the ****) and i decided to rent a game while i was at it. all of the games that they had available i already owned, played, or didn't want to bother with. i saw oblivion sitting there and even though i fall asleep during most rpgs i decided to pick it up. i can't lie, i'm really enjoying this game a ton. i think i'm gonna sell blockbuster my tomb raider and just pay the difference so i can keep the game. there's just so much **** to do, it's crazy.
good game.Tags: None -
Re: I apologize to you RPG nerds.
Ive never been into rpg' s, I think I liked that Star Wars one a few years ago alright..I just got stuck about 3 hours into it, couldnt figure it out and never played it again. Is there action in Oblivion, or is it alot of reading and wandering around finding keys? Finally, is it complicated? I mean keeping up with all your stats and spells, Im not good at all that stuff. Everyone really likes it so Im kinda interested! ThanksComment

The biggest hook with this game is that you can be whoever you feel like, go wherever you like and do whatever you feel like. There aren't any limitations within the game.
Stat's aren't overly complicated but you do have to make good choices based on your character to get the most out of his or hers attributes and abilities. That part isn't hard.Comment

Re: I apologize to you RPG nerds.
Is this game too much to handle if you haven't played RPG's in the past but are looking to get into one? What are some of the pluses and minuses of this game? Thanks!Comment

Dammit, you guys are making it real hard not to buy this game. Kinda sounds like it would be a good change of pace after B2MC online sessions.Comment

Re: I apologize to you RPG nerds.
yeah man this game is definitely worth a purchase. after hearing the hype with games like KOTOR and falling asleep with the controller in my hand, i had pretty much given up on rpgs. however, there's just so much to do in this game and the storylines keep you interested that it's hard not to like it. the game will seem overwhelming at first, but an hour or two into it you'll be good. i can tell i'm gonna be spending a lot of my time with Oblivion.Comment

Re: I apologize to you RPG nerds.
I like RPGs. I only go for the best though. The ones I played were Final Fantasy, Chrono Trigger, Dark Cloud (or somethin), and a few others.
I'm looking forward to try Oblivion when I get my ps3. Hopefully it's all it's cracked up to be + more100+hrs of play? That'll last me a while.

Re: I apologize to you RPG nerds.
i don't know if all stores are doing this but the game was recalled due to content issues and the "teen" rating. I work at circuit city and we had to pull all of our copies and send them back to Take-Two.Fav teams:
