looks like Microsoft was duped... how foolish do they look thinking they have exclusive rights but then come to find out that the PS3 gets it the same day... LOL

Microsoft wasn't duped - they do have an exclusive with Rockstar - it's for downloadable episodic content over Xbox Live.

They never thought or said GTA 4 was exclusive to the Xbox 360.

Actually, seeing as how Sony lost their most important exclusive title - it's them that looks... not foolish, but rather unhappy.

yeah i dont see how microsoft loses anything in this. this with the price of ps2, unless sony gets exlusive rights to ea sports or something like that, the playing feild will be pretty even this go around.

Pretty much, maybe it is just me, but somehow I just can't imagine Sony is sitting back laughing about this one and how badly Microsoft got duped.....Sony goes from signing an exclusive deal with Rockstar to having III and VC being released on Xbox to having SA being released on Xbox relatively soon after it came out on PS2 and now GTA4 is coming out on the same day for 360 and PS3. Microsoft sure doesn't seem like they are the ones who will be angry over this deal.

why do you guys keep on saying they LOST IT... The contract ended, theres a difference. And with the whole hot coffee situation R* wasn't going to be exclusive to anyone.

Also about the DLC, its not confirmed to be for GTA... Its for a Rockstar game.

Separately, Microsoft and Rockstar announced a deal this evening that will see the GTA publisher distributing "exclusive" episodic content via Xbox Live. While specific projects remain unannounced, Microsoft said the deal would allow Rockstar to provide Xbox 360 owners with "ever-expanding gameplay experiences". Extra cities for your brutalising, anyone? Microsoft described the deal as involving "exclusive Rockstar games."

great move by MS not letting Sony grab exclusivity again

they looked very good in the conference today and have a lot of software support this time around (early)
