I am looking forward to Wii which hopefully will be fun. It looks like Nintendo is on the right track and the Wii will be affortable for most people.

Because they are fun, Halo is a great multiplayer game, and gears of war is bad a$$. your statement is "invalid" because it sounds like your not into those kinds of games and are into like RPGs, Pokemon, and little kid type games, i dont really know. different people like different genre of games. i love mario man, i grew up with nintendo, but if your even asking why Halo, and Gears of War are getting the Hype its because the demographic for those games are probably older than it would be for nintendo. so if your still in your early teens or something like that i could understand your question, if not and your like 22 or something, then i dunno, then again i could be just hating and blowing off some steam.

WOW! That's what I'm talking about. I miss the Mario games. I haven't done Nintendo since the Super Nintendo. This is definitely going to be my compliment to my 360.

Gears of War... amazing graphics yeah, but this cover and shoot gameplay has been done before and it just isn't interesting. 3rd person shooters that are on rails aren't fun either.

You and many others have to get it through you head that not everyone like's the hyped games and kids aren't the only gamers to enjoy Nintendo's stuff.

Lol...Feel free to throw an "IMO" in there at some point. Halo's greatness is unquestioned, and just becaues GOW and other games like it don't pique your particular interests doesn't take away from how freaking sweet it's going to be for me and millions of others, bro.

Anyway, i'm so glad nintendo has such a strong showing this time around. If the Wii can gain momentum in Japan and marshall pretty good eastern dev support, copping one will make the wait for a PS3 pricedrop alot easier. I really hope they deliver with the "virtual console" bit.
