They said the gameplay was falling short and the gunplay was jittery. They do point out that it has potential and hope it gets fixed by launch. The one thing that makes me cautious about the Wii at launch is how the new controller technology will play out. I believe they will get it right, but will they get it right in time?

Re: Red Steel Hands On
I like the look and sound of it. A bit of a worry that the gameplay isn't what they want at IGN but I suspect people calling the controls jittery simply because it will take some time to master the new controls of the Wii.
Watching the presentation at Gamespot, I liked the idea of using the left controller to open doors by basically mimmicking the turning of a door handle, and also pumping the controller down then up to reload. Cool idea's, let's see how far they can take them.
Also, in the interview it's mentioned that there are sensitivity options for the controller in-game.Last edited by Admiral50; 05-12-2006, 06:24 AM. -

Eh, game is 6 months from release at least, I have no worries that the frame rate will be cleaned up. This is one of my more anticipated games for the Wii.Comment
