Did I miss something or was Rare not really there?
I know we are getting Viva Pinata for the 360, but that's it?????? Did I miss something? WHy did MS even purchase this company? Kameo was pretty good and PD0 seemed to get mixed reactions. What happened to this once great company??? Where is Banjo? Heck, I can't even play Conker on the 360 because it is not BC.DON'T PANICTags: None -

As I said the day the sale was announced, by buying Rare, MS hurt Nintendo more than they added to their own strengths.
Grabbed by the Ghoulies was average at very best.
Conker was fun but just a rehashed game.
Kameo, yeah good game but not great.
Perfect Dark Zero was worse than EA's crappy Bond games. -

Rare has 4-5 projects there working on. One of those is Diddy Kong Racing for the DS, and one is Viva Pinata for the 360, so that leaves 2-3 projects. Peter Moore said they would unveil two new Rare 360 games this year. I'm thinking the other will be unveiled at X06.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Apparently, because they are. Maybe their agreement with Microsoft is only for consoles in direct competition with the Xbox and Xbox 360? Or they could have received permission from Microsoft to develop a DS title. If that is the case, something tells me they would not be granted the same permission with the PSP.Comment

I do agree that the new stuff sucks, I mean PDZ was just plain awful. Give me a single player map that works! I don't mind corridors...much better then wandering around waiting for the waypoint indicators to pop up. Kameo was pretty but empty underneath. 'Viva Pinata', if it lives up to the 'Animal Crossing' vibe though may make me reconsider. My wife and I loved AC, and missed classes at times trying to sell turnips and crap.
