    Lost Planet E3 Demo

Man. This game has officially done it. I'm primarily a sports gamer and the majority of that is football. But this game has pulled me back to the days where I played video games but not simply sports games.

This game in just this demo has it all IMO. I can't get enough of it. The Snow Pirates Level is very intense. I love this sh#t.

This game actually sucked me in. Not something that I get from shooters. I think I love this type of shooter more than the tactical, "stop, drop, and roll" shooter. I'm all over this in 2/2007. I wonder what they will do to it by then.

Love the demo. I can only imagine how good it will be in early '07. I haven't beat either of the demo levels, yet. I'm going to work on that, today.

it's crazy to think how polished the demo felt and the game still have nearly another year of development time.

Im starting to like more and more 3rd person shooters than first person.
Plus this game has that sci-fi feel, which personaly, I don't mind.

But in general, the game felt great control wise too.

I think I have almost finished the first level...I got to the boss fight (i think). In this cave with a guy that turns into a buzz saw. He's pretty mean. I died there and had to get in the bed, I plan on trying it again tonight. I also haven't tried mission #2 yet. I love the demo, feels amazing considering they have almost a full year to work on it some more. Multiplayer should be nice.

I haven't played the demo yet, but from the footage this game looks like the Resident Evil 4 behind the back camera/gameplay, which is a good thing.

Im thinking the game is pushed backed to 2007, because it may get lost in the christmas rush with GoW, Forza, & Madden. Its wayyyyyy to polished to be a year away from being done.

Wow that trailer has me pumped. I downloaded the demo last night but didn't have a chance to play it. Definitely giving it a try tonight.

I saying the game is close to done already, and they are planning on releasing it after christmas so It has the best chance to sell. The game is so good I can't imagine it being much better.

I think it's cool that Peter Moore mentioned in the conference that the demo for Fight Night 3 sold more copies than without a demo. I guess they looked at gamertags for folks who downloaded the demo and then purchased the game. I hope that other manufacturers paid attention to that and give us some demos before games come out.

It all goes back to a game being good or not. FN3 sold because it was decent. I know some demo's have completely turned me off from buying or renting a game. While others made me want to try them like the tomb raider demo.
