    PSP and DS

I have a psp. I used to have alot of games but now i only have one game. LUmines. I dont play my psp becuase there are no good games out and i see too many coming out in the future. But i do think the psp has potential and i like the features it has. But its pretty much collecting dust.

The DS lite is coming out in a few weeks and i notice that the DS has lots of good games. Especially the new super marioi bros that came out today. I dont have a DS i havent had a gameboy (i know a DS isnt a gameBOY) since pocket color.

Which one do you guys have and which one would you say has the better games?

No brainer for games, the DS wins hands down. I own a DS and it's a great system. The PSP is nice but I just want a machine that's dedicated to playing games and the DS does this the best.

I had both. I bought the DS first then 6 months later a PSP. Initially I really liked the PSP but afterall a while it became apparant that the games weren't anything original and inventive. It was pretty much just cut down PS2 games I was playing and since I had a PS2/Xbox and now 360 there was no need for it. So I sold the PSP.

I love the DS. It has fun, 'quick bash' games for short sessions and it has the more time consuming types, all while being pretty original and offering different experiences and gameplay.

I'm trying to sell my DS off cheap now because I love the look of the Lite.

E3 had some cool new games shown too which excites me, but also worries me because I know they will again put a hole in my wallet

There are some good titles on PSP. Syphon Filter and Metal Gear Acid 2 came out. Also there are some good 2-D titles like Lemmings, Mega Man Powered Up and Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. At this point(especially now that Lumines is going everywhere, I wouldn't be suprised to see it go to DS lol) it probably isn't worth the price compared to what you can get on the DS.

I am really looking forward to Field Commander.

I think I will pick up a DS finally though when the Lite hits the US. One of the major reason I chose to get the PSP was the design. One of the major reason I chose NOT to get a DS was the design. It was never a choice BETWEEN the two.

I admit I do other stuff with my PSP more than I game on it, but that is exactly why I bought it, because it does do other things very well. I wouldn't drop $250 on a handheld game machine alone. I have tried a bunch of PSP games, but the only one I keep going back to is Hot Shots Golf, which is great IMO.

The DS lite looks tight, the price is right and Brain Age interests me.

the PSP wowed me when i got it, and it's technically amazing...just the games didn't thrill me after a while. Hot Shots Golf Fore was addictive, but the rest really had no staying power. There aren't really any unique handheld games for PSP, to me it seems mostly like ports. That's why i sold mine a while back to help pay for my 360.

Getting a DS lite, and the games look cool, but haven't played them yet so can't comment.

I had a PSP and sold it. The games were just ports of PS2 games. I got a DS instead and love it. Way more variety in the games.
