EB taking pre-orders for PS3 and WII games!!!

For anyone interested, EB games are now taking pre-orders on games for the Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Wii. I know of only 4 games that were available for pre-order last night for the Wii but the PS3 has about 25. And no Metal Gear Solid 4 is not one of them.

I doubt anyone will run to pre-order games, and not a system, games are always easy to find...

You can technically pre-order any game at anytime. Gamestop by me has been taking reserves on Madden 07 since before Xmas and Halo 3 since the 360 launched.

To be honest with you both, its amazing how many PS3 and Wii game pre-orders I have taken in the 2 days that they have been available.

Red Steel is by far the most popular of the Wii games, as I myself have pre-ordered 5.

The PS3 games are all over the place. I would guess the most popular would be Call of Duty 3.

You must have one popular store, when I picked up Table Tennis yesterday, I asked my buddy about PS3 and Wii, and he said zero reserves for either system on any games.

Our store is popular due to location. Many people who live in counties that are considered "country" come to our store. Location is everything I guess.

As for the actual numbers, I may have been a little overzealous when I originally spoke. It is true about Red Steel because, well that is by far the most popular Wii game that we are currently taking pre-orders for(no date for new Zelda yet).

I counted up my PS3 and Wii pre-orders last night at work and then the total number of pre-orders for all the staff for both systems.

Myself 4 PS3 game pre-orders and 6 Wii game pre-orders

Store 11 PS3 game pre-orders and 17 Wii game pre-orders

We currently have 11 pre-orders of Red Steel.

I am amazed by the number of game pre-orders I have taken because I didn't feel as though they were going to be as popular as they have been.
