FN3 is a button/stick masher regardless of what button config you use.

Try button mashing online against an opponent who knows what he's doing.

I have played everything and in my opinion and at this moment, I would buy the following:

COD 2 (the patches make the game really fun online now)
GRAW (awesome as long as you get in a good room, if not, frustrating)
Burnout Revenge (I am in the minority, but I love this series)
Geometry Wars (fun, quick, and cheap)
Uno (see above)


I would avoid:
Fight Night (no career mode and online has massive cheese)
Top Spin 2 (I am a TP nuthugger, but they messed this one up)


On the fence:
Oblivion (I was one of the few that could not get into it, but I can see its greatness, but I was probably scared about the massive amount of hours needed to spend on it)


I am about to go get Rockstar Table Tennis (thanks *******s, you broke me down with the greatness comments) and will post later with a ping pong ***** opinion.


Whatever you do, make sure you get online. XBOX Live is flawless.

Currently my Best Buy has a deal on where you can get a wireless controller and and Perfect Dark Zero for the price of just the game. I know that most people have said Perfect Dark is pretty crappy but this does seem like a pretty decent deal. Any thoughts?

Doesn't anyone like pgr3? When I bought my 360 I picked it & Nba 2k6 up. Both are very good games. The sense of speed in those exotic cars are very cool. I played online for the first time the other nite and got blown away! But was very fun to do. I also picked up a vga cable so when the wife claims the hi-def t.v. I go to the computer monit r.

Not with 16 or so other people playing Infection online. That was a lot of fun while the single player has you shaking your head.

Jistic - Don't get Top Spin 2, I have it and it's just tedious to play IMO and the computer just kicks my @ss all over the place...it's no Virtua Tennis that is for sure. If you are really insistent on getting it PM me and maybe we could work out something as I've been thinking of trading it in to Gamestop anyways but they always rip you off on the tradeins.

As for my recommendations, I've been playing Fifa World Cup for about a month now (since the day it came out) and it's one heckuva game, it's a blast...although i've heard online really is terrible for it due to lag.

I also recommend PGR3 as it's the best racing game I've ever seen/played on any home system. I just don't play it as much as I should because some newer game is always coming out. I've been thinking of getting a steering wheel to use for it but then I"m still saving for that 50" Sony SXRD.

In terms of sports games the best game is NBA2k6 I believe but in your posts you said you were burned out on that. I'd also avoid MLB2K6 because although it's playable and I don't regret buying it, it's def. got some "issues".

I loved the colorful graphics, but wasn't too fond of the gameplay. I didn't like the weapon aiming or the overall "feel" of shooting.

Yeah I'm probably going to trade in this Tennis game for the Table Tennis soon. I guess i'll just stick with Virtua Tennis which comes out this fall, man I loved that game on the Dreamcast!

I had it on the Dreamcast too, but it's nothing like the PING PONG game.
