Sounds good so far. These games are WAYYYY better if you play them as a stealth killing game rather than an all out shootfest imo.

Are the graphics up to par with with what we expect on a next gen title?

Can you use both 3rd and 1st person perspectives effectively?

well i can't really give u an opinion on graphics because... well i don't have an HDTV just yet.. but it does look on par with the other games I own...


but yeah, u can use 3rd and 1st person perspectives very effectively... at a click of the right stick, u can toggle between them... the only complaint I have is sometimes it's hard to guage how close you are to an enemy when u wanna piano wire them... so sometimes he won't do the animation and the enemy see's you and begins plugging u with shots... but other than that... the camera's are solid. I prolly just gotta shift the camera around to a sideview to get more effective with the firewire.... Lovin it so far.

I am going to try to pick up a copy of this game after work tonight. Played the demo last night and was sold. I have always sucked majorily at these games but love them anyway.

Download the demo, Hitman games are love and hate. You won't be in the middle. I've loved every Hitman game so far, the demo proved to me that the new one won't be any different.

It's a 3rd person game, and you are a hitman. You can play the game completely different ways, killing only your target, or everyone in your path. Fun stuff.

I agree. I must have played Hitman 2 close to 100 hours. And I've enjoyed every game after that one.
There's so many ways and variables to complete each level. From impersonating a pizza delivery boy to all out shoot fest it's a great time.

At least rent it. I highly doubt you'll be disappointed.

4 hours later... i completed the 2nd mission without firing any shots and being seen at all.. i LOVE this game... seriously... this next mission is even tougher.

That's what's so ingenius about these games. You want to complete each level without firing one bullet or being seen.
I read that in Hitman 2 you can complete the entire game with firing only 1 shot. And that's to knock out a light.

Hey guys, I need some help.

I'm on the first level and I just picked up the rifle case and it asks me to unpack the sniper rifle. How the F do I do that? i ran around for days and pressed everything and I can't figure out how to unpack it. Please help!

Choose the rifle case in your inventory and you will automatically unpack it.

Now i got another problem. Where the heck is the 3rd guard at after i get the sniper rifle? I swear ive looked for 10 minutes and this is so frustrating.

oops lol i missed this... umm...


first thing i did at the start of the stage... i piano wired a soldier that was overlooking the water, then switched clothes with him and grabbed his shotgun and threw him over the cliff (picture in picture will show a view from the floor with him falling)... then i ran thru the nearby door, then up some boxes, and jumped over the ledge.. then followed another guard (the ones with the machine guns) and followed him in, piano wired him.. switched close, then kept go'n str8 and hid his body in the lid that's in the kitchen (there's another guard patrollin so be careful)


and from there, you can either, go back outside... climb the pole, sneak thru the window... and kill the old fart that's playing the cello (piano wire, poison syringe.. your choice) OR you can go downstairs into the wine cellar where the son is... there's 2 ways to kill him... u can either rig a bomb on the barrels to kill the son when he's standing under there... or u can follow him to the room where he's snorting cocaine.. piano wire the 2 guards... and then piano wire him and throw all 3 of them in one of the huge pots with wine it it... then from there, u take the elevator down and escape...

If you typically enjoy the Hitman series or if you like Splinter Cell then yes

never tried the Hitman series, but I do like Splinter Cell/stealth action, so gonna give this a shot on 360

Wow, I didn't fire a shot, but did it completely different. I love this game!!

Read the post that EG has quoted from ThaGenecyst and then read EG's post. That is what makes the game great IMO.
