Starting it around $50 seems reasonable, then just hope you get interest. Maybe start it around $30 just to get some people to start bidding.

I would bundle the XBOX, DVD Remote + Accessories.

Depending on what games you have, I would either try to sell them seperately or bundle them with the system.

Id bundle everything together and start the auction around $80. Just a regular 7 days with no reserve should do the trick.

I sold one about two weeks ago and got $132 for it. I sold it with 3 controllers, Halo 2, NCAA 06 and a few older games. EB told me they would take the xbox for 50 and not too much for the other stuff. Also I sold a PS2 w/ 2 controllers and some real old games for $112. I used all of this to help pay for my 360.

Yeah, bundle it, it's a better option and easier.

Oh I like that, I wonder if my EB does that. Was it just the XBox? Or was that with the games?

Thanks for all the input guys.

I posted it on craigslist last night since it's free and I can always delete it. I figure if after a few days there I don't have any takers then it's going up on ebay. After all, here unfortunately the DS Lite won't be in stores till street date So I have about a week to raise cash.

I would have gone with ebay, but that's my personal opinion.

Why? Craig's List is free and things sell very fast on it.

Seriously. I've heard a few bad things about that place in the past.

Tell me how it's better than ebay, maybe I may use it in the future?

                      Can you use paypal?

Are there no fee at all?

How long can you list items for?

Do you list pics for your items?

It's more like a classified section of a newspaper. It's locals bidding on it, so no paypal, I'm sure you could, but normally you don't.

Maybe, I'll venture to the website and take a look at their layout. It's not auction based than, it's classified correct where first come first serve?

I've never used it before, and knew relatively little about it. The website itself told me when I listed that usually "non-local" buyers are usually scams and only deal locally if possible with buyers (which is what I'm doing). The listing can stay up for 45 days and you can delete it at anytime. I figured I'd just give it a shot (no listing fees and my metro area is one of the locations that they have classifieds for).

I am much more familiar with ebay and I like how it is set up, but I thought I'd give craigslist a 2 to 3 day trial run. If I don't sell it there it will go up on ebay for sure.

Oh, and I did have 1 reply on craigslist thus far, but it was a non-local buyer "giving it to his uncle" and offering $70 more than what I posted it for. That response quickly went to the trash folder.

Just the XBox, cables, and controller...the way you bought it.

When I found out about it I wasn't even about to buy a 360. I ran home and wrapped my XBox up and an hour later I had a 360 in my room.
