    Can someone please help me.....

    I've tried and tried to hook my 360 to my comp and I just plain out don't understand. I have a Linksey's usb adapter, and my cable modem.Do I actually have to have a router? I tried to hook it up as stated in the manual directly to the modem,but when I powered my 360 I got the 3 red rings (I thought it was because there was nothing plugged into the av port). If I don't need a router, what the devil do I plug the ethernet cable into coming from the 360.(I tried unplugging the ethernet cord in the back of my modem and plugging it in there,but doesn't work). Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks alot.

          Well if your XBOX has three red rings thats a different problem!!!

              My 360 is fine,I found out it was because I didn't have the power cord plugged in all the way.

                  He got the red rings because his plugs weren't plugged in all the way (or at all, in his case).
