online shooters

Don't have a 360 yet, too poor pay for something that I know will die in 6 months. I'm getting tired of playing the crappy sports titles that have been released recently so I've been getting more into shooters. Been playing lots of Halo 2, GRAW, Rainbow Six Lockdown, BLACK, Half-Life 2.

I was curious what other shooters are good for the xbox, and what shooters are fun to play online? Any good shooters that are pc only that you can play online? Also, please don't say Return to Castle Wolfenstein or Battlefield 2, I have little interest in playing those games anymore.

Does anybody still play CounterStrike for xbox? What about Unreal? Also would like some feedback as to which war shooter is the best? Thanks.

Best War Shooter period : Americas Army.Pc version for me.Its free.

OK, so I know that the majority of you guys have 360s and probably haven't played any games recently that are less than 1.5 years old. But still, if anybody has any input on shooters, please respond.

Darkleaf, why was Americas Army free? Is it a demo or what? How is it?

Its free because its developed by the US army.

Go to http://www.americasarmy.com/ download it its an amazing game and like I said its free.

There is about 30 levels ALL online ranging from SF to Airborne missions, max players on a server are 26 no super nail guns or anything just standard issue M16 or Saw, M4 for SF maps.

Edit: This games been around for years, when I first downloaded it they were at 1.2 now they are at 2.6 with a new patch coming out called "OverLord".
Anyways 7 million people cant be wrong its good.
