Probably because so many break and they tell you that you have to pay to have it fixed at wich point it's best to buy a new one.

We don't need to discuss that every single time the PS2 sells a ton of units. I'm highly doubting that 200,000 PS2's are breaking every month.

I doubt it's anymore then the 360, it says something about the console when multiple third parties release fans.

Also, if something breaks you go right back and buy the same product, no some people will buy a different system.

No. I have Sony products that I own, also, Ive owned 3 PS2's in my time. Everyone that I know with a PS2 has had more than 1.

That's shocking about the PS2 numbers.

BTW i'm still on my first PS2. I had a close call a year or so ago but it was only dust "whew"
