Re: May NPD sales
on my 2nd ps2. 1st was a launch, bit the dust around october of 2005. Also on my 2nd xbox. 1st was a launch then it lit on fire while my 3 year old was watching "the Wiggles" on it. I was in the bedroom watching por.....err...the Discovery Channel. He comes running in saying "Daddy..Daddy..hurry!!"(gets that from his mother) anyway...I go in the living room and smoke is pouring out the back of my xbox. Damn good kid...earned a year or two of college tuition off that save.Comment

Re: May NPD sales
Good to see New Super Mario Bros get off to a strong start. I want to see Nintendo support this franchise.
And also good to see MLB 06 The Show continuing to sell well, another franchise that I want to see enjoy great success.
The PS2 still sells well because its cheap and has a great library of games and still has promising titles on the horizon. Its not really that hard to figure out.Comment

Re: May NPD sales
the PS2's backwards compatibility really helps. that was the one that made me get the ps2 over the xbox at launch( a couple weeks later I go the xbox) but I wish microsoft put a better effort into their bc.Comment

He went and stated that in June we are going to get anywhere from 12-23 titles. Many of these titles that they have on the next BC list are going to be ones that everyone has been asking for. Let's keep our fingers crossed.Comment
