Games for 4 year olds???
My 4 year old has made a big step in his life. While at Best Buy yesterday he saw the "Ultimate Spiderman" for X box and said he wanted it. He knows the difference between DVD's and games cuz of the green cases. Anyway, I played it for awhile while he watched and then he wanted to try, hes never played a real game b4, I usually give him an unplugged controller and hes all good. But I was surprised how fast he picked up swinging from buildings and basic moves. Finally, is their any other Dads out their with young kids who know of other games he will like, and that I can play with him and not get too drowsy. I own an Xbox and a ps2 ( a 360 also, but I know theres nothing there for him) thanks guys.Tags: None -
Re: Games for 4 year olds???
My five year old loves the Dora the Explorer Purple Panet game. I know it is on the PS2 and GC. The game has some puzzles and basic platforming skills. For really little kids it allows them control of an on screen character without too much complexity or furstration.DON'T PANICComment

Teach your kid how to play NCAA football. It's never too young to become an NCAA master.Comment

Re: Games for 4 year olds???
Im not gonna throw away his bat and glove, and replace it with a dual shock. And I dont even play my FPS's until hes asleep. But I dont think theres any problem with some games he plays with me. Like alot of kids Im sure hes only gonna get more into as he gets older. I cant wait for NCAA games between us in a few years.....then Ill throw away his bat and glove.Comment

True that. Or you can even go older and get him hooked on Mario. Not sure if he will like it since he has already played new games with way better graphics.Originally posted by vinnyGet a Sega Genesis with Sonic 2 and Madden '93. Played those two games SO much when I was little.Comment

My daughter is 4 is well but she plays the games that you plug straight into the TV. She has Mickey Mouse, Dora and Barbie. She is learning hand eye coordination and is getting better, She and I play Mickey Mouse Golf a lot. She will be five in Sept. and I'm thinking about a game cube for her. She ia always wanting to play NASCAR or football with me when I play the XBOX or 360.Comment

Nomar's homer off Pedro. Those four words just shouldn't go together. Not even on a day like 6/6/6. ~Bill SimmonsComment

Re: Games for 4 year olds???
I'll definitely agree with Lego Star Wars. Great game for kids to play that is actually a fun time for adults too. Doesn't hurt if you grew up on the source material either.Originally posted by WebdanzerI definitely recommend Lego Star Wars. It's co-op, and I have a blast playing it on the X box with my young son. We do play Spiderman too.
Other favorites:
Sly Cooper 2 or 3
Ratchet and Clank
Fusion Frenzy is a fun time too.Comment
