We dig into the nearly final build. Impressions and loads of Xbox 360 and PC movies.

Prey is coming out in about three weeks, and, unless you're an idiot, broke, or you're strapped to a rowboat on the river Styx, you'll want this game.

The Demo is 5 levels.. problem will be downloading it. Especially tomorrow night when it releases on the marketplace. You thought downloading during E-3 was bad......

I got this from the Eurogamer message board. It'll be a few days before Prey is up on XBL Marketplace. The good news is the PC demo has recieved good reviews so far from those who have played it.

3D Realms president George Broussard has just confirmed that the Prey demo won't be available for download tonight. Here is the official word, straight from the horse's mouth:

We do not want 360 people waiting up for the demo or having false expectations. The 360 demo will not appear on Marketplace tonight.

I'm still waiting for specifcs, but I'm being told that it's still in testing at Microsoft. From what I understand this isn't Microsoft's fault, and is more likely just an issue of timing.

I'm hesitant to give any estimates for a release, but I've been told it should be reasonably soon after the PC release, but could be as long as a few days.

I played the PC demo and have been very impressed. The whole walking on walls thing is a ton of fun and has made for some interesting fights in the single player game. I am also digging how immersive the ship is and it helps that the main character says comments that one would probably say if one found themselves on a ship full of human eating aliens.

Any game that has the Art Bell show in it is interesting in my book.

Count me impressed as well. So many tricks that I've never seen done in a FPS before...

Looks great and runs smooth on max details, too.
