Johnnytheskin has the PC version though, I couldn't compare the 2. I know he said the graphics are better on a high end PC, but I'm playing them on my HDTV and they look damn good to me. I think the PC has one other option for online play that the 360 doens't. But other than that, they are identical.

Re: Any interest for the 360 Lord of the Rings Game?
Originally posted by ExtremeGamerI haven't touched it since NCAA came out. But I still own it and will go back to it. Being someone who wasn't big into RTS, I wanted to give this a shot. I don't play PC games, so I wanted to see if this was done well. The controls for me are spot on as are the graphics. The gameplay was a lot of fun and took a lot of strategy to play. It was one of those games I popped in and got lost in for hours. I have totally enjoyed it and look forward to other RTS' dropping on the 360.

I need to find the specs for the PC, I have a 3200+ AMD Athlon XP, 1 Gb System Ram, and NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT so I wonder if my system could handle this game.
Did you hear about the new expansion that's coming to the PC?

Originally posted by candyman56Thanks Scott, this has been a title I've been contemplating buying since you guys started this thread. I like RTS games on the PC better, but this one controlled fairly well on the 360.

Re: Any interest for the 360 Lord of the Rings Game?
Originally posted by luv_mistOne of the reasons I decided not to try and get this on the 360. I'm still trying to get a decent system worked out. I'd be pissed if I buy that game for $60 and then the expansion is in downloadable content. I'd be even more ticked if the expansion didn't come to the 360. I wonder if they'll do that joint. I definitely feel the desire to get a decent computer. Trying to save up for that sucker. Too many great things I've missed already.......
Has anyone played the first BFME on the PC? Was it any good?Comment

Re: Any interest for the 360 Lord of the Rings Game?
Originally posted by ExtremeGamerNo chance of an expansion being downloaded over marketplace. For one, it would be like 3-5 gigs of info and for 2, it would be like 20-25 bucks like the real expansion packs are.Comment

Hold UP!! Wait a MINUTE!! Remember that a rumored 100gb hard drive is coming out this year for the 360 which might make it a little more sensible. On another note, the expansion could be little additions added slowly that eventually add up to the $25+. In thinking about it, little purchases are more dangerous than one big purchase. People who are having fun might just do it. The size is definitely a big part that would be a factor but if that larger hard drive comes out, then it's more believable, right??Comment

Re: Any interest for the 360 Lord of the Rings Game?
Originally posted by ExtremeGamerI would say never say never, but probably not. I don't actually know how you would do it without a bigger HDD.
With the PC it's only #35-$40 + you can use the mouse/keyboard which I like better for an RTS.Comment

I have a feeling that "Witch King" might be DLC, but offered in a smaller download possibly where they add the new units, new storyline, trimming down the PC version a bit. Just my 2 cents.Comment

Re: Any interest for the 360 Lord of the Rings Game?
Originally posted by candyman56I was just reading that the achievement points are set at 705 max right now for the 360. Why would they be at 705 and not 1000 like all the full retail games are?

Re: Any interest for the 360 Lord of the Rings Game?
Originally posted by ExtremeGamerNo, it's 1000. Either way, who cares?
look at your Gamertag bro it's 705 pts.
I'm just saying that maybe they were going to distribute episodic content via XLDLC for the rest of the 295 pts. Just a thought.
I think I'm going to just get this for the PC, Johnnytheskin makes a good point about if your used to the kbd/mouse for RTS that it's easier playing this game.Comment

Condemned never got 1000, PGR3 did after a few months. I doubt we'll see 395 points added to the game at any point. As far as I know, the online portion still hasn't even been patched since release.Comment
