Seems like you're just burnt out by gaming at the moment and you'll probably want to play Madden (or ncaa) badly once football season starts......buuut it's your decision .

Anyways....if you're looking for a good, fairly large TV in the $900-1300 then I would go with a sony or Samsung DLP. You can get a very good (my friend has it...i've seen it many times and IMO is a great TV for it's price) 46" HLS Samsung DLP for $1300 at Amazon.com. But first you should make a trip to best buy or CC to check all the TV's out in person and then you can make you're decision on which TV you want.

I own that Tv you posted before. It's a solid DLP and Samsung makes some of the best. I've had it for about a year now and never needed to have it repaired/looked at or anything. Configuring the picture outta the box to look nice was a bitch but it's like that with every HDTV I hear. And that price is defintley right, I'd say thats a good deal and get that TV. I'm waitin for the Nfl season too but the CFL season in HD is already getting me excited.
