Does anyone know if it is possible to have my pc and 360 hooked up to my monitor without switching the vga back and forth. Its annoying

Go buy a KVM switch. That's how I have it set up.

I been looking at them. Do the ones with the cables attached or built in work. It seems that you need to connect it to the back of the 360. If you could recommend one I would appreciate it.I dont really understand how it works

A simple KVM has 3 vga ports. One "Out" that goes to your monitor, and two that go in (For your xbox and PC). Just plug them all up and you can also use a keyboard shortcut to switch between the two.

I did that on my old pc monitor,but my new one has a DVI-hookup so i bought a 15 dollar cable,and ran pc to it then my 360 when i play on PC i have the VGA...one button,very nice...switch works too

I just bought a 2 port USB KVM Switch to use for the 360 and my PC. But I'm having some problems with it. I'm definately not the most computer savvy person out there but the switch came with the hookups as well as a green cord (sound?) and a pinkish-tan cord (microphone?). Anyway, when I hook them up the 360 won't work and for my PC to work both the PC and 360 has to be on. Its been frustrating trying to figure it out. If something doesn't make sense just let me know but ANY help is appreciated.
