NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Got 2 DDE's today playing NCAA 07 on my 360. The first was expected. But the 2nd one made my 360 become possessed. The game froze and I got the dreaded DDE screen. So I reach down and turn off my 360 and turn it back on. No biggie...just a major pain. And then the tray opens and then immediately shuts so quickly that 2 of the gears got popped loose and got loose inside my 360. Thankfully NCAA 07 was not damaged. But the 2 gears are a bit of a problem. The tray won't close properly so the 360 can't read any discs until the gears are placed back in the 360. I got the gears out of the 360. But I can't figure out a way to get them back in the 360 and at the same time getting the tray put back on(I had to take the tray out to get the gears out because they were sitting in the back of the disc drive.)

Anyone ever had this happen? Or even had to put the two black gears that go in the front back in? I'm suffering NCAA withdrawals here

I believe the warranty is your only hope now. I would think that putting them gears back in would violate the warranty.

Hold up. You seem to have been more concerned over the well fair of NCAA than the 360.

Wouldn't it be easier to replace said game than the machine?

Maybe I read your post wrong but that struck me as odd.

You haven't had it that long have you? I'd not touch the damn thing anymore and take it in to wherever you got it or send it to microsoft depending on where/if you got your warranty

i spent most of my long gaming hours in college.. it was reverse for me.

I just sent mine off on Wednesday and got a refurbished console back a few hours ago, so if you're worried about not having a 360 for a while you don't have to.
