Re: Question about Xbox 360 Play and Charge Kit

To avoid starting another thread in regards to this device I figured I would ask here. Is there a benefit to having say the Quick Charge kit over the Play and Charge Kit? Im not that close to the system and after getting the Play and Charge Kit it would seem that the other would be better suited for me atleast. Also, in regards to the Play and Charge Kit, can you plug it in through your USB on your computer to charge so you dont have the 360 on so much? Anyone have any luck with the Quick Charge kit? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You can plug the play and charge into any usb on your computer to charge. I have 2 controllers so I always keep one plugged into my computer. WHen the one I am using dies, I just swap them. So I always have one fully charged one waiting.

If you only have one controller, you can just plug it to your computer when you go to bed at night, in the morning it will be fully charged.

Thanks for the advice, Im thinking about getting another controller and doing exactly what you do in regards to charging and playing and then swapping them when needed. I actually have 4 batteries that I can recharge but I like the convenience of the Play and Charge kit also.

I just read up on the quick charge kit and it sounds like it is very good too. It comes with a battery so if you bought that, you can always have one battery charging. When yours dies, just swap out batteries. I'm not sure what the price difference is though between the 2 (play and charge and quick charge).

Thanks for the info. I have an extra controller (that I bought used at a gaming store downtown for $30 and is in perfect condition) specifically for something like this.
