    Flying with the 360

I'm leaving on a trip and I want to take my 360 with me. I was wondering what's the best way to travel with it? In the suitcase in the box, or in a carry on bag wrapped in a little bubble wrap? Or does anyone have a better idea?
I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

I took mine in a carry-on, with the 360 wrapped in a t-shirt and survived with no problems. I would definitely not put in your suitcase...there's a chance your luggage may get damaged, lost, or stolen.

I travelled with my PS2 all throughout university and always had it on me as a carry-on. Zero problems.

Yep, definitely carry on, preferably in a padded backback or something like that.

buy a little LCD screen and have another backup with nothing but battery supplies and time will fly by on the flight

I just recently flew to Florida with my 360, still in FLorida for another week, and I put it in a carry on luggage. Much safer. Sure they had to search but it took a minute or so and I was on my way.

Vince, where would I be able to pick up a case like that? That would definatly be what I'd like to transport my 360 in. Although I'm broke as a joke right now, on my return trip I'll have money, so I wouldn't mind picking one up before I fly back.

I'm wondering, did they make you turn it on or anything? It's been 10 years since I've been on an airplane so I have no idea what the preboarding procedures are now. Plus I'm taking my laptop with me as well.

No not at all. THe guy who searched it knew what it was. We had a little conversation about some of the games actually. I doubt they make you turn it on. If you get someone who doesn't know what it is, he/she will probably ask someone else and you would be good to go.
