    Having problems with Backwards Compatibility

I am trying to play some games that are supposed to be BC, Splinter Cell Prince of Persia and SSX 3 and I am only getting a screen that says "this is an xbox game disc, put this is in your xbox..." and I can't seem to play them. Anybody know why I am having this problem? Or more importantly can anyone give me a solution to fixing this?

Are you connected to XBox Live and downloaded the newest patch for the new titles?

Connected yes, I'm not sure if I have the most recent download though. How would I know that? I'm able to play titles like Doom 3 and Halo 2, but not any others.

Then you should be fine, when you put any backwards compat game in, it downloads the entire update.

Well, I just tried it again and it seems to be working fine. I don't know what the problem was before, no need to worry about it though. Thanks for your help extreme.
