I am trying to play some games that are supposed to be BC, Splinter Cell Prince of Persia and SSX 3 and I am only getting a screen that says "this is an xbox game disc, put this is in your xbox..." and I can't seem to play them. Anybody know why I am having this problem? Or more importantly can anyone give me a solution to fixing this?

Are you connected to XBox Live and downloaded the newest patch for the new titles? -

Then you should be fine, when you put any backwards compat game in, it downloads the entire update.Comment
