Bought GoW & SotC

With both being greatest hits and having not played either of them I thought it was a pretty obvious buy for only $40.

I'm on a big PS2 kick as of late and am going to try and find a cheap copy of Kingdom Hearts 2. I have a 360 but nothing really interests me besides NCAA. I guess I'm just trying to get all the good titles I missed before the PS2 goes bye bye.

Perhaps Guitar Hero awaits me down the road.

Both are great games. I got away from SotC and never finished it. I'll have to go back to it. The graphics were a little off IMO. Too much shimmering or something. To me it was definitely sub par to Xbox games of the same time. But it is a great game playing experience. Seeing those huge beasts for the first time is awe inducing.

I have never played Guitar Hero, but from what I hear, it's a complete blast.

'God of War' was definately one of my most wasted purchases. I enjoyed the game a lot (save those spinning pillars of death you had to scale) but it was way too short. Definately a rental at best.

Just wait until Christmas...'Kingdom Hearts 2' will drop by then. Trust me, it's WELL worth the wait if you don't want to drop the fifty bones.

*Never mind, just read the second post again...'Shadow of the Colussus'. I still need to check that one out!*

I was going to play SOTC last night, but I fell asleep putting my son to bed. I watched the IGN & Gamespot reviews for this game and it looks amazing.

Thats interesting. I thought it was one the most aesthetically pleasing titles of the last generation across all platforms.

God of War was kind of fun for me, but I got really bored with it before I finished it so I traded it in while it was still worth something. Very pretty game, well executed for an action title, but I've just come to realize over the last two year that most action titles bore me after an hour or so.

god of war will go down as one of my favorite ps2 titles...after RE4, it may be the best (non-sports) game I have played. But i can understand some people's criticism of it.
