Microsoft Sucks a dirty fat sack, when it comes to BC...They chose some of the crappiest games to be, BC.

And I'm sure not half of us own those titles.

What happened to only the top titles will be BC. or best sellers

I'm sorry did Bad Boys really sell, or intellivision classics what the hell...

Microsoft is stupid when it comes to doing simple stuff, if your going to make crap games BC, why not just do every title, then we'd all be happy.

        Look pee-brain.

They priortized based on the best selling games.

Lets look at the 35 games that sold at least a million on the Xbox.

        Halo 2
        Halo
        Splinter Cell
        Fable
        GTA: Double Pack
        PGR
        Need for Speed: Underground 2
        Star Wars: KOTOR
        Ghost Recon
        Need for Speed: Underground
        Star Wars: Battlefront
        Rainbow Six 3
        PGR2
        DOA 3
        Madden 05
        Madden 06
        ESPN NFL 2K5
        Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
        Medal of Honor: Frontline
        Star Wars: Batlefront II
        GTA: San Andreas
        Ghost Recon 2
        Spider-Man
        True Crime: Streets of LA
        Enter the Matrix
Star Wars: KOTOR II: The Sith Lords
        Tony Hawk's Underground
        Hitman 2: Silent Assassin
Star Wars Ep. III: Revenge of the Sith
        Medal of Honor: Rising Sun
        Max Payne
        Call of Duty: Finest Hour
        Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
        Spider-Man 2
        Forza

26 of the 35 games that sold at least a million are back compat. If you continue to go further, you will see Microsoft continues to priortize based on the top selling games. Microsoft said some games just aren't going to work, and I'm sure there is other reasons why some of these games aren't back compat. And once again, games like Bad Boys and Big Motha Truckers happened to come "for free" with the base emulator.

I know at least half of you on OS wouldn't even be complaining, if your precious NFL 2K5 worked. But it isn't going to happen, so move on, get over it.

And here do a little reading, because this isn't a walk in the park.

We created the emulator for the Xbox 360 console, which enabled the Xbox 360 console to play original Xbox games without modification.

Wow!!! You got ignorant for no reason. First you call me a name. Then you mention NFL 2k5, in which I said nothing about.

Then you named tons of titles that I didn't even mention or concerned me.

I mention intellivision and bad boys. Not Halo 1 or 2 or any of the above.

And why mention NFL 2k5, I mean come on. What is your beef? You don't see me in 2k forum hyping that game, and talking about crypted letters and numbers. So let it go, about that game.

And back to the subject, I'd like to see games like Break Down, Prince of Persia Series, Cold Fear and Games like that. Those would be nice to play....Even Shenmue 2 and Jet Set Radio Future...and Panzer Dragoon Orta...

On the real, I'm laughing cause that's the first time I've seen Flawless snap off. However, I can understand where you're coming from. A lot of the BC games that I think should be there aren't there. I do realize that it's a hard process with two different basis for the games. Emulating is much hard than expected, especially when it's a closed system. If it was open, it might be easy as clicking a link, but I know it's hard than that. I don't even have to read those links to know. Hey, BC is a task for real that was a problem only because of severed ties between M$ & Nvidia right? I say just keep the freaking XBOX or wait until they reduce even more this year. I'm sure that you guys will be able to play. Man, funny stuff Flawless.......

Bottom Line: No NFL 2K5 backwards compatibillity = no purchase for me. And this goes for the PS3, as well. We're in an environment where football gaming is about as low as its been since before the Genesis/SNES generation - NFL 2K5 absolutely needs to be supported.

DISCLAIMER: That is, of course, until a great SIM football game with full customization appears on a next gen console. I won't hold my breath, though - not likely that will happen.

Until then, I will remain with the PS2/XBox generation, which at least at first glance, will remain as the top generation in console gaming history for the foreseeble future (IMO, of course).
Been gaming since the Atari 2600, and hells no I won't stop!!!

Hey Prime did u get my message? I guess the guy Doddha wants the most out of his money. He wants to play the newer titles and old titles and eliminate the cluter in his house by having a 360 and xbox out just to enjoy both games.
