Is this how the 360 is? Or do you think games will utilize the hardware better in the future? Should I just wait for PS3?

360 seems slow to me
Played the 360 at a friends house for a considerable amount of time. We played NBA 2k6, NCAA 2007 and Fight Night Rd3. Each game was kinda slow and sluggish. (kinda like playing a pc game on a system that doesnt quite make the recommended settings) The 360 had a extra cooler so I dont know if heat was an issue or not.

Slow and sluggish? No games I've played. Boxing is slow and sluggish in real life. -
Re: 360 seems slow to me
hmm, it was kinda like when my players ran in NBA and NCAA it was like he was running in semi-slow mo. We were using his profile, possibly the games were set at a slower then normal speed?
Are their different versions of the 360? (ex; newer ones run cooler then release date 360's) he got his when it first came out.Comment

Re: 360 seems slow to me
Actually I played Madden at Best Buy on the 360 and that felt slow too. Maybe my senses are refined or something. The games on the 360 dont play as fast as the regular XBOX, IMO.
Is it slower in HD or something?
Im not knocking the system, I would like to get one, but I gotta get this issue knocked out first.Last edited by e0820; 08-13-2006, 09:35 PM.Comment

Re: 360 seems slow to me
the only thing I have noticed is that on NCAA some of the motion shots, like the begining of a game were it shows the stands and scans down to the field, is a little choppy, like the frame rate is not set high enough.
