    "Upgraded" 360's

I was wondering when are new 360's going to arrive. I remember reading an article how Microsoft said the new 360's wouldn't be as loud and would be cheaper to produce. Most importantly there would be fewer problems with the console.

Do you people have any links for this "new" 360? If there's rumors, there has to be links.

there is no such thing as "upgraded" 360

it is simply the same machine as always with the processor produced with a 65nm process rather than 90nm.

It just means it will be cheaper to produce the processor and it will run a little less hot. Also the GPU Will eventually get shrunk down as well to a smaller process. The most important factor again is cost which allows MS to make a profit for a while and to then lower prices when the time is right.

That's the way I understood it as well.

That's what I thought. There's no new system. Sony, MS, Nintendo have done this throughout the life of their systems.

Yup agreed, but once the system uses these newer sytle "cooler" CPU's, heat issues should be a thing of the past.

I personally don't see the heat issues of now, but that's me. My 360 barely gets warm.
