Speed Run: TMNT The original!!!!

This actually looks like the first "actual" speed run as the health stays legit throughout the game. Its really amazing!! This game gave me more frustration than any other game I have ever played. I'm not sure but I think I might have gotten past the water level but not very far after that.

Definately worth a view.

Without a Doubt one of the hardest games ever made. Defusing the bombs was a absolute bitch.

I could never get past the last level. How did they expect little kids to ever get anywhere in this game?

I'm watching now, some observations/comments:

-Check out that brisk framerate!!!
-Damn the enemies were weird in this game and made zero sense.
-I know its speed run but this guy is really sloppy.
-That water level did suck, but once you learned where the bombs were it was passable. I would always use Mike and Raph to take damage in that level b/c they stunk.
-I've beaten this game a grand total of one times. I can't imagine doing it in 20 minutes.

Yea, there were several times I was thinking go get the pizza!! He risked it a couple of times and almost died. Shredder seemed way to easy.

All of the bosses were pretty easy in that game if you had Don. The only one that was hard was Mecha Turtle. Plus the game moved so slowly that you could anticipate a lot of the moves before they happened. The guy playing did lose one turtle, right? I think it was Michaelangelo.

Cool video. I remember it took me forever to defeat this game, a whole lot more than 20 minutes! I always had a real hard time on the board that you drove around on.

Wow, this brings back memories of childhood. I remember it being an incredibly hard game. From that video, I realized that I was only one level away from beating the game before I stopped...dang. Oh well. And what was up with those wierd characters that you had to fight? It's like Double Dragon's later stages except it's in the entire game.
