Thanks PK, really appreciate it...and as for the pimping, I told my girlfriend I wouldn't go back to those days again. But desperate times call for desperate measures.Comment

Re: Who has really gotten a FREE X-Box 360???
I saw an ad for something similar to what you're talking about. It was for a free set of Callaway golf clubs. I love golfing, so I figured what the hell.
I start going through the motions and go through a ton of surveys and crap. Then it starts asking me to sign up for some of their promotions. Most of them were just trials or you're able to cancel immediately without paying, so I continued.
As I go along, they keep throwing on more free stuff they'll send me, ie a TV and a $1,000 gift card. So now I'm getting very suspicious.
Finally, at the end, it gave me a list of like 10-15 things to choose from, and I had to buy/subscribe to three of them. All of them were outrageous in price, and would have ended up costing me more than the golf club set, TV, and gift card combined
So for all that work, I got absolutely nothing except a wasted hour and tons of spam email and phone calls. In other words, it's not worth it.Co-Commish of the OS Vets I & II

I could have sworn though some people on here knew of a site or place that actually worked and wasn't too extreme.Comment

Someone on here says that they actually got one. I forgot who it is though but he posts fairly frequently and he has it in his sig.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Go to Walmart... ask them to look at the 360 box... when they open the case and hand it to you... TAKE OFF RUNNING!
If you make it out without getting caught, then you have a FREE XBOX 360.
I wouldn't go that route though...Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: Who has really gotten a FREE X-Box 360???
There goes my whole new career plan down the drain.
But seriously, your best bet is save some money and look for some good internet deals. Not too long ago I got a 360 for someone as b-day gift, $299 shipped for the premium. $100 off and free shipping.
So can you get it for free? Maybe, but not likely. Can you get a good deal on it somewhere? Yes.Comment

Re: Who has really gotten a FREE X-Box 360???
its not only time consuming, but you basically need 5 people who are willing to pay 10 bucks or more on fulfilling all 3 of maybe 13 listed trial offers. (5 people including yourself. so basically 4 other referrals)
if you have 3 who've done their trials and paid the money, its not enough. you need all 5 to get accepted.(inluding yourself)
throw in, each person needs 4 referrals and many arent willing to help you if you cant help them get more people to help them. its a tough business.
if I can get 4 of my cloest friends to help me. they would then each need 4 other unique people to completelly fulfill any 3 of the listed 13 offers.
Then you have to worry about cancelling subscriptions and offers. I mean, im sure it can be done, but id rather work for it if i really wanted something. youre basically jumping through hoops at their own leasure and pleasureComment

I used the link the poster here had, though I don't remember his name. It was exactly like Timmeh described. Now I get well ove r a hundred spam emails everyday. I click to discontinue them and they just keep coming.
If I ever meet whoever posted that, I'll punch him in the face.Comment
