My 360 clock is stuck on November 22 2005. When I change it, it works until I turn off the system again. Then it reverts back to 11/22/05. Is there anyway I can save my system settings?

360 Question
This may be a dumb question with a very simple answer, but for the life of me I cant figure it out.

Re: 360 Question
Do you have your system plugged into a power strip?
The power strip could be tripping and causing the 360 to completely shut off.
Another possiblity is that the battery or flash memory on the system that remembers the time and date has gone bad.BeyondMediaOnline.com -
Re: 360 Question
My old XBOX used to do the same thing, I think it has to do with how much stuff you have plugged into the surge protector and how many ohms it can handle. I wonder if it's getting overpowered, I would try to get another surge.
How many items do you have on the surge?Comment

Re: 360 Question
It's normal guys as all Xbox and Xbox 360's do the same thing. The Xbox and 360's use a battery for the clock that has a limited hold time. If it's fully charged the 360 will hold the charge for about 4 hours after you unplug the 360 or Xbox.
If you turn on any of these machines for about 30 minutes to an hour it will only stay charged for about 30 minutes and then you will have to re enter the Time and Date.
* Note if you have Xbox Live as soon as your system Signs You In "it will automatically update the Time and Date" via the Xbox Live Server.Comment

Re: 360 Question
Honestly my 360 hasn't had a problem with time and date and it's plugged into a surge protector...weird.
But remember if you have XBL it's never a problem because as soon as you Login to the Service it automatically updates your Time and Date.Comment

Re: 360 Question
My 360 is brand new and has done this since day one. I am hooked up to a surge protector along with a regular Xbox that has never done that. Maybe I'll hook up the 360 to its own surge protector and see what happens. Although not the end of the world,it is annoying to look at my snapshots from NCAA 07 and see that stupid date for all photos.ByurrulzIdon'tfollowComment

Re: 360 Question
Thanks for the replies guys, my surge protector is full, so that might not help. I'll mess around with it this weekend.Comment
