    Guys Please Help(XBOX 360)

My 360 is having major problems. When I turn it on the ring of light turns red and flashes. And when the game does come up, it freezes during the first 5 minutes. Guys Please Help me. Thanks

    Revision : 3.10
    SYMPTOMS
You see three lights on the Ring of Light (RoL) flash red on the front of the Xbox 360 console. The upper-right quadrant light is the only light that does not flash red.

    CAUSE
This behavior occurs when the Xbox 360 console experiences a hardware failure.

    THINGS TO TRY
    1. Try restarting the console.
    2. If restarting the console does not resolve the behavior, follow these steps:a. Turn the console off.
    b. Unplug all the power and AV cables from the console.
    c. Unplug the power cord from the wall socket.
    d. Firmly reconnect all the cables.
    e. Turn on the console.

    3. If these steps do not resolve the behavior, turn the console off, remove the hard drive, and then turn on the console.• If the 3x Red LED error light is no longer displayed, turn the console off, re-attach the hard drive, and then turn on the console.

    4. Examine the lights on the power supply. When you turn on the console, the power supply light should illuminate green even if the three lights on the RoL flash red. For more information about what to do if the power supply light illuminates red or does not illuminate, click the following article numbers to view the articles in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

906103 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906103/) Xbox 360: The power supply light is not illuminated
    5. If you continue to experience this behavior, contact Xbox Customer Support.
Note If the Customer Support agent cannot help you resolve this issue, return the console to Microsoft for repair. See the More Information section for Customer Support contact information.

      Re: Guys Please Help(XBOX 360)

I have had my 360 since January and haven't had any problems with it until now. I am getting a new AV Cable this weekend and hopefully that's the problem. If it's not, I will have it shipped. How long does it take them to fix it? When will I get it back?

Thanks, Brian. I have tried all of those though. Nothing seems to work. I called microsoft though. But like I said, I am going to try a new AV Cable before I ship out $140.

Best of luck, bro. It's no fun when your $400 system craps out on you. It's happened to me twice now. Thankfully, I bought the warranty on it.

Mine just crapped out on me. I'm going to try all these things they said. Hopefully it works. I'm praying.

It didn't work. There goes over $1000 down the drain.

Yup, on my 3rd 360. All were well taken care of, well ventilated, and lightly used (probably an avg. of 30 minutes a day). The first lasted me 3 months, the 2nd lasted 2 months. Always get a warranty, because IMO the 360's are P of S, necessary and fun, but still P of S.
