Not that this has any relevance to the 360, but my PS2 was on for about 2 years almost non stop, and I haven't had a single problem with it. Well, other then the extra electric bill, but as I wasn't paying for it, I didn't care much.

Sounds like a sweet setup for a dorm room. Given your sig, I presume you're a frosh. Have you considered asking him about this, maybe pointing out it could be bad for the system?Comment

Re: My Roommate Leaves his 360 On..
I'm leaving it on tomorrow to download 2K7. I have a bunch of classes and won't be home till 2:30, so it will be on for probably 5-6 hours, before I come back and play 2K7 meaning it oculd stay till like 8 hours on straight.Comment

Re: My Roommate Leaves his 360 On..
When I first moved in, my mother and my sister were up here and Kevin was the only roommate that had moved in ( I have 2 roommates and room for one more) and so we sat talked and hung out for a while. We went to go get something to eat and my mom asked Kevin to join us and he accepted. As we're getting ready to leave, my mom noticed that the 360 was still running and he told her that it was good for the system to run for long periods of time. He turned it on to show my mom how the HD projector looked, but didn't want to turn it back off because he says it's not good for the system to only for a couple minutes at a time.-Jay Illestrate, Emcee/Producer/Graphic Artist
