It came out early. Pretty good so far. Great soundtrack. Biggest problem is you can only kill peds by running them over,dunno about cops since it hasn't come up yet. Only a rental so I don't have the special one.

I've been reading on other boards that the xbox version supports 720p for HDTV owners. From the impressions I've read most seem to think the PS2/Xbox version is pretty good but the psp version is garbage.

if not killing peds is the biggest problem, it's either an awesome game or you haven't played it much. For as bad as Tony was in the movie, he only kills people that have it coming..

Yea I know he only kills bad people but it doesn't translate to the game very well,missing out on fun. He does make comments like "If I kill this one I go to hell" and "Nah mang joo don't deserve it" if you try to shoot them. You can kill cops though.

Now the biggest problem is cop chases don't end. You get to a certian point and your only option is die or reload your last save. There's no way to get rid of the heat,since I have inf health that lasted a long time before I realized that. Still pretty good overall.

Chainsaw is awesome. Swing it around with the right analog,right cuts of their right arm,left cuts off the left arm,down cuts off their legs and up cuts off their head. The gun executions are really cool too.

Yes, the XBOX version supports 720p 16:9 and the PS2 version supports 480p only.

I was also over at the Official Scarface game site, in their forums the mods which are part of the development team said that this game will not be Backwards Compatible with the 360 at all.

I got it on PS2. Graphics are good.
It won't be BC on 360 becuase they're making one for it,far as I know they are anyway.

Turns out you CAN kill peds. You get to buy henchpeople later,there's a driver guy,big Italian mobster enforcer guy and a Japanese school girl assassin and those 3 can kill the peds.

The gangs seem to get upgraded weapons including chainsaws wich = instant death so should probably take them out later when they upgrade again to guns. They didn't have them when I was taking over Little Havanna but trying to take over Downtown they all have them even the last few that were in Little Havanna had them.

Goh, it was cancelled for the 360 back in August. The development team also confirmed on the official message boards on the official website that this game is not going to be BC with the 360 anytime soon.

Are you playing the game in progressive scan 480p?

Ok, if it looks good on there than this should look really nice with 480p on a HDTV.

It sucks that this was cancelled for the 360. I can't wait to play this game later tonight. Everyone has tons of positive things to say about it which is good.
