I don't get it. The UK review sings its praises while the US review is harsh, talking about bugs and repetitive, uninteresting side missions. Why are they so different?

Interesting with such a big differnce between the two. It is a rental at the very least for me, it looks like a really fun game, the demo was quite good.

IGN's the only not to really like it so far. OXM loved it too. Waiting on Gamespot's and Teamxbox's reviews. I loved the demo.

GameInformer gave this game a 7.25 and 7.

I guess even GI mentions that there are flaws in the final build also but a very immersive world.

With or without flaws, I think this will still end up being one of the most fun games of the year.

I know it's not that much of a deal, but retail for Just Cause is 50 instead of 60. YOu can get it at amazon for 47 + free ship.

I might wait a week or 2 after release and buy it used. The demo, despite collision flaws was just plain fun.

I didn't like the demo at all. Too many other good titles IMO to spend my money on.

I liked going face first to the ground in the opening part in the demo...or just opening the chute as soon as i could and see how far i could go

Anybody pick this game up today? I am probably going to buy used in a couple weeks. Save a few dollars because it's not a must have (aka a sports game)

I bought it at EB used today. I've played 30 minutes and love it.

I forgot how fun mindless action games are. And Finally a game that goes well with all my Jimmy Buffett music. I'll play for about a half an hour and post some +/-'s
