I was 2 people in line in front of me from buying a 360($400) along with Perfect Dark ($27) and NCAA football($45) after tax this would be around $500. I am not sure if I should buy it because of some minor problems people have been having and I also heard rumors of a price drop once the PS3 arrives which last I heard was Nov. My question for everyone is when should buy the 360 and those with one was it a good investment? I already know I'm going to be buying the 360 and not PS3 or Wii when they become avalible.

dont worry about the "problems." I've had mine since before Day 1 and it has ran perfect. Buy a warranty and then you don't have to worry about it. I would go ahead and pick up 2k7 as well.
For me, the 360 was a terrible investment until now. We are finally seeing truly next gen games start to hit the market. You've got a ton of good games on the way before the end of the year. NBA 2k7, Forza 2, Gears of War, Call of Duty 3, Rainbow Six: Vegas, WWE vs. RAW 2007 are all on the way before Thanksgiving.
There will be no price drop on the 360 in the forseeable future.
Go buy the damn thing.

Very true about the price drops. As soon as I read that I thought to myself "Why would they dorp the prices anyways?" Echo - buy the warranty. The consoles don't seem to be having many problems anymore but for an extra $40 you don't have to worry about a thing for a few years. Considering my luck with PS2 consoles I jumped on the warranty for this thing...Comment
