That was fun while it lasted, Hungry and WTF, but then I started lagging like crazy, so I just turned off my console because I couldn't take it anymore.Blind to this impending fate

Re: Splinter Cell: Double Agent (360)
You all are going to make me play single player now, lol.
That last game, I had so much lag, and I couldn't even hack... it was horrible. I was literally standing on top of a terminal... and it wouldn't let me hack it. I was getting ticked, lol. Then I went suicide mission going for AA, lol. It wouldn't let me snap his neck, so I got PWNED hardcore, lol.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: Splinter Cell: Double Agent (360)
Ok the way this game starts out is, just amazing.
I've been playing it for over an hour, mid-way through the prison. Game graphics are just sick. The skin effect, his face and just level detail is beautiful...Fire looks real.....Water effects and the voices are nice...The new arm gadget is sweeeeettt!!!
I'm sorry the double agent storyline alone, is worth the purchase...for all who said, that Metal Gear had better stories. Well this just proved them wrong...
Game is super nice.....
10/10 Perfect and so great....Comment

RE: Single-Player Mode
Speaking as someone without a high-speed connection (i.e. no online play for me) I have to say this game has, without question, met my expectations. I was a huge fan of Chaos Theory (my first experience with the series) and I think this game blows it away. I honestly do not have a single complaint with the gameplay, the AI, or anything in between.
Once I got over the learning curve (about two hours), everything fell into place: I pumped the difficulty level up to 'Hard', started over, took every moment as seriously as possible (i.e. the goal is to complete every mission with 100% effectiveness) and the game has simply blown me away since.
If I have one complaint, it's pretty arbitrary. I don't particularly care for the fact every moment is accompanied with music: I don't want the game to play as though I'm in a movie, I want it to play as if I'm actually in the environment; so the constant soundtrack is something of a disappointment. But honestly, that's my ONLY complaint. This is by far the best game I've played on the 360 so far.
The only other thing I want to comment on is the 8-10 hours bit. I'd think whoever determined that is talking about how long it takes if you play it straight though without mistakes. In other words, that's probably not counting all the time spent figuring out what to do, or portions of gameplay where you die. Perfect example is how you can spend an hour or more on a mission, but on the stats sheet, you see it only took you '23:18' in terms of 'real time', if you know what I mean. From the looks of it - from the pace the story is developing - I'd say this game is just as long as Chaos Theory, if not longer. Plus, like someone else already said, this game looks to be one you can play through multiple times. I wouldn't worry about this at all.
Long story short: This is a VERY worthwhile buy, even without multiplayer. I'm stoked.I am become death
Do not underestimate my apathy
