Re: Splinter Cell: Double Agent (360)
To me SC vs MGS...
I'd choose SC...
Metal Gear has been the same game, rehashed character per sequel...
Seems that Splinter Cell from part 1 going into part 4....has felt like a fresh game each time. New moves, objectives. great story lines...And I like the fact, that they include his personal life, into the story, which ties with his attitude during the game.
And Candyman you right...Single player was amazing in the previous 3...
Can't wait to get Double Agent home and finish the story...
And of course, get on the multiplayer...Chaos Theory multiplayer was incredible...Comment

I like the story better in MGS, and the whole presentation for the most part.
Gameplay wise Splinter Cell completely blows it away though.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: Splinter Cell: Double Agent (360)
MGS has had an interesting story I'll give you that even though it's a bit far fetched. Splinter Cell has improved with every release, but I really think that they need to quit releasing a SC game every year. It's like the Tomb Raider series, it lost it's luster quick due to having a new release almost every year at one point.Comment

But for some reason even though they are both espionage/spy games, I don't consider them that. SC is more of a spy game, while MGS is more of an interactive spy movie.
Although I will admit that I replay MGS about 3x as much as I do SC (single player, although if you logged my mutli time in SC it would blow MGS out of the water)Comment

That's what the older SC were like. I haven't followed this one at all so I have no idea what's changed.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Re: Splinter Cell: Double Agent (360)
2 teams, mercs and spies. Mercs have assault rifles, grenades, mines, etc. Spies have more stealthy equipment as opposed to fire power. There's a few different game types if I remember right, but it's basically the spies have an objective they have to complete before time runs out, or the mercs find them and kill them a few times.
