    Family Guy video game

So I rented it...I haven't played it very much, in fact i'm STUCK but it's not all that great of a game. I mean it's a nice time waster but it isn't anything you HAVE to get.

Anyone rent/buy the game yet? If so maybe I could ask you to help me with something.

Might try to find a used copy when it's down under $20 since I'm a fan of the series. How does it play?

Kinda like a puzzle/platform kinda game. Some aspects of it remind me of the puzzle parts of the old Leisure Suit Larry series.

Admittedly I haven't gotten very far. I'm stuck on the morgue level where Stewie has to find his way out of the morgue.

Yeah, according to previews, when you play as Brian it turns into a simple stealth game and Peter gets a side scrolling brawler.

Tell me what you think when you get unstuck.

I bought it becuase I'm a fan of the series and I have to say, I really enjoy it. The voice acting is great, it's funny, and the platforming (while fairly easy) is fun.

It was worth the $30 in my opinion.

OK I got past that level.

Well all I can say is it's an interesting game in terms of premise but I think it kinda falls apart. The FG humor doesn't translate too well to video games IMO. I did like how it combines 3 different styles of play within the game.

It kinda reminds me of one of those old platforming games from 15 or so years ago in general feel. Peter's beat em up gameplay reminds of those side scroller beat em up games like Final Fight. Of course it's done a lot simpler.

I think the game is worth the 20 bucks but it'd get old pretty fast. So I think it's best that you wait for the game to be marked down or just rent it.
