Curt Schilling and Green Monster Games
Schill recently made some statements about his vision for his new gaming house, including the proclamation that their first MMORPG venture will "blow the industry away." Todd McFarlane is on board as art director, and fantasy/sci-fi writer R.A. Salvatore is creative director.

Re: Curt Schilling and Green Monster Games
The people who designed DAoC were big time into EQ too. But they saw some things they could do better, so they went and designed Camelot. Hopefully Schill will take the best of EQ into his new game, while changing things people didn't like.Helen: Everyone's special, Dash.

Re: Curt Schilling and Green Monster Games
There's certainly interesting talent involved. Since Schilling is an avid EQ player, he knows what makes a game good so he likely wouldn't let some crap get released. McFarlane is obviously capable of marketing the product and Salvatore is the premier fantasy writer of today. Still, I don't expect much to come of this partnership given how expensive it is to develop a quality title these days and then run the servers.Comment
