Xbox 360: Selling & Warranty question

I'm selling my X360 that I bought this past summer at best buy, and I also bought the extended warranty on it.

If I sell it, how does the extended warranty work for my buyer? Do they still get the remaining 21 months of the warranty? The warranty is my name. Is the extended warranty voided? Anyone know how this all works? Thanks.

I'm not sure you can transfer the warranty. Typically they are non-transferable. You'd probably need to read the warranty to be sure.

According to the Best Buy fine print, the warranty is assigned to the serial number. So, yes, you can transfer to someone else as long as you give them the original receipt.
